Acupuncture is a component of the health care system of China that can be traced back at least 2,500 years. The general theory of acupuncture is based on the premise that there are patterns of energy flow (Qi) through the body that are essential for health. Disruptions of this flow are believed to be responsible for disease. Acupuncture may, it has been theorized, correct imbalances of flow at identifiable points close to the skin.

Acupuncture is a family of procedures involving stimulation of anatomical locations on or in the skin by a variety of techniques. The most thoroughly studied mechanism of stimulation of acupuncture points employs penetration of the skin by thin, solid, metallic needles, which are manipulated manually or by electrical stimulation.

Acupuncture was invented in India and has since then been vastly used for health benefits. For example: Ear piercing is related to good brain health and Women wear foot-ring after marriage to raise their fertility.

Now-a-days, acupuncture/acupressure has become so advanced that it is used for anaesthesia purposes. Even World Health Organization recommends acupuncture.

Spine and Arthritis –

Arthritis can affect any part of the body, even the spine.

The spine is made up of individual bones called vertebrae, which provide support for the spine. These vertebrae are connected in the front of the spine by intervertebral discs that help support the spine and also allow it to move. The many ligaments and muscles that are attached to the back of the spine provide the power for movement.

Arthritis occurs when the cartilage in the joints is worn down as a result of wear and tear, aging, injury, or misuse. Osteoarthritis, the most common form of arthritis, also includes loss of cartilage, overgrowth of bone and the formation of bone spurs. This causes the bones under the cartilage to rub together, causing pain, swelling, and loss of motion of the joint. Osteoarthritis can occur in any joint but most often occurs in the hips, knees, hands, or the spine.

Height Growth –

Height growth has long been recognized as a measure of health and wellness of individuals. How tall a person reaches as an adult or a child depends on the genes they inherit from both their parents as well as general health and day to day nutritional intake during their years of growth.

Infertility –

If you and your partner are struggling to have a baby, you’re not alone. Ten to 15 percent of couples in the United States are infertile. Infertility is defined as not being able to get pregnant despite having frequent, unprotected sex for at least a year for most couples.

Infertility may result from an issue with either you or your partner or a combination of factors that interfere with pregnancy. Fortunately, there are many safe and effective therapies that significantly improve your chances of getting pregnant.
